( Green Beans in Tomato Sauce )
Vegetarian Recipe
One of my favourite meals. This easy to prepare meal is wholesome and hearty when served with fresh, thickly cut, bread and a slab of feta cheese.

Fasolakia Ingredients
Order Quantity Ingredient Alternative Notes
2 lb Beans ( Green )   Fresh, cleaned with strings removed. 
2-3 Clove Garlic   To taste. Chopped. 
1 Large Onions ( White )   Chopped. 
1 Bunch Parsley   Chopped. 
1 Pinch Pepper   To taste. 
4 Medium Potatoes   Optional. 
2-3 Pinch Salt   To taste. 
1 A Little Sugar ( White )   Optional. To ease the sour of the tomato. 
1/2 Cup Tomato ( (Juice) )    
4 Medium Tomatoes   Ripened. 
4 Small Zucchini   Optional. Cut in large pieces. 
Fasolakia Directions
Clean and remove the strings from the beans.

Warm the oil in a pot and simmer the onions and garlic.

Add the rest of the ingredients (except the potatoes) with a little water and slowly cook for 20 minutes.

Cut each potato into 4 wedges and put them in the pot last.

If needed, add more water and let the food boil for a while.

Serve hot.
